Raelle M. Belland

Raelle Belland, 41, passed away during the early morning hours on Sunday, September 8, 2024.

She was born on June 22, 1983, and grew up in New Berlin, WI. At an early age, Raelle professed her faith in Jesus Christ and from that moment forward, Jesus was Raelle’s guiding light.

While rollerblading on the suburban streets of her neighborhood at the age of 12, she met her future husband, Mike. Raelle loved talking about Jesus so she spent many walks with Mike talking about her faith and her Lord and Savior.

Raelle left home at the age of 17 to attend Liberty University in Virginia where she went rock climbing, bouldering, and camping; graduating in 2004 with a degree in journalism.

Mike and Raelle reconnected in 2004 and were married in 2005, 10 years after they first met.

Raelle’s life was devoted to being a wife and mother. She stayed home with her children beginning in October of 2008 after daughter Eden (15), was born; followed by the births of Micah (14), Ezra (10) and Jude (8).

She considered herself a Homeschool Mom so she homeschooled her children until 2019.

Raelle constantly said to Mike, Eden, Micah, Ezra, and Jude that the only thing she ever wants in this life is for her kids to know and love Jesus.

With that desire, Raelle’s legacy was formed and built around her faith and love for Jesus. She never lived her life at the surface of this world but journeyed deep into the pain and struggles, and joy and triumphs of being a mom and having a family.

Raelle inspired so many to be their authentic selves and to be the best version of themselves. She taught us to live generously, joyously and taught us to be thoughtful and kind towards everyone. Raelle inspired us to have insatiable curiosity and creativity. Most importantly, Raelle showed us what it means to be devoted to her faith and family.

Raelle is survived by her husband, Mike, and her four children Eden, Micah, Ezra and Jude. They invite you to Raelle’s celebration of life on September 22, 2024, at Oakwood Church in Hartland, WI. Visitation will begin at 3:00 and a service will start at 4:00.
