WAUKESHA 鈥 The SM天地论坛 Police Department received multiple calls regarding 鈥減opping sounds鈥 that sounded like fireworks or gunshots in the 2100 block of MacArthur Road on Thursday night, according to SM天地论坛 Police Lt. David Daily.
鈥淭hrough the investigation we learned that there was some kind of disturbance in the parking lot of the apartment complex involving multiple subjects and at some point during the argument, shots were fired. The subjects fled the scene prior to police arrival. There are no known victims as a result of the shooting,鈥 Daily said.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident between the people that were involved and there is no threat to the community. The investigation remains open and active.
