Sam and Katie Pickens have been as busy as bees lately with the purchase of听Vintage Grounds Coffeehouse听in Muskego. The couple, who also owns Buzzy Bees Honey: Fresh From The Hive,听had been selling their honey products in Vintage Grounds for the past two years and came to mind when owners Erin and Ryan Zielinski decided they wanted to sell the business at S74-W16825 Janesville Road.

Prior to starting his honey business out of his home on Racine Avenue in SM天地论坛, Pickens said he was a fulltime caf茅 manager for Outpost Natural Foods so he is able to use his barista skills once again.
Katie Pickens, who works full-time as a nurse, has been spending time working in the coffeehouse since they bought it on Aug. 6.
The couple鈥檚 goal for Vintage Grounds is to keep its 鈥渕agic鈥 and as a place for听the community to come together.
鈥淭here is an excellent group of people who work there that make the excellent drinks and provide excellent service,鈥 Sam said.
He explained he wants to add juicing as an option at the coffee shop as a healthy beverage alternative for those who don鈥檛 care for coffee or don鈥檛 want something caffeinated.
Pickens said he is also considering听adding some听evening functions.
