The Gallori to change ownership - 01

The Gallori owner Lori Boldig is retiring and her downtown Oconomowoc custom framing and art store is having a sale. The business will be taken over by a new owner.

OCONOMOWOC — After 40 years of owning a business, 30 years of which have been in downtown Oconomowoc, Lori Boldig decided it was time to retire.

The Gallori is having an ongoing retirement sale until the new owner takes over in October.

Boldig said she made the announcement last Thursday and lots of people have been asking about the future of the shop. She said it will remain a custom framing shop, but there may be a name change. Boldig also sells art and gift items from the storefront at 133 E. Wisconsin Ave.

Boldig serves on the city’s Bureau of Economic Development & Tourism Commission and is co-president of the Downtown Oconomowoc Business Association.

While Boldig will be around town for a while yet, she said she and her husband have built a home up north, where they are looking forward to spending more time.
