Carol M. Seegers of SMÌìµØÂÛ̳ died on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born in Milwaukee to Leo and Marie (nee Enders) Seidel. Carol was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She loved watching football and baseball as well as attending her children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s school and club sport events. Most importantly, she cherished her family and will be remembered by many as a mother figure.  On September 22, 1956, she married Warren U. Seegers at St. Catherine’s Church, Milwaukee. Warren preceded Carol in death on March, 17, 2011.

Carol will be sadly missed by her children, Patrick (Bridget) Seegers, Linda (Jerry) Schedlbauer, Peggy (Don) Braun, Ray Seegers and Chuck Seegers. She is the proud grandmother of Britney (Mitch) Fowler, Shannon (Charlie) Kloppenburg, Colleen Seegers, Joseph Seegers, Mary Seegers, Michael Seegers, Ashley (Ryan) Witte, Stephanie Schedlbauer, Taylor (Khyrysta Renteria) Braun, Connor Braun (fiancé, Rachael Dejno) and great-grandmother of Leiahna, Natalie and Claire Fowler, Ali and Oliver Witte. She is further survived by her brother Chuck Seidel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Seegers, their daughter Jane Seegers, her brother Father Victor Seidel, sister Marilyn (Tom) Marx and sister-in-law Rosie Seidel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 4-7 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., SMÌìµØÂÛ̳. Services continue at church on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the funeral Mass at 11:30 AM.  Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Catholic Memorial High School, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School Forward in Faith Athletic Project, Catholic Community of SMÌìµØÂÛ̳ - St Mary’s Parish or Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity.
