Linda M. Schmidt (nee Janiszewski)
Linda M. Schmidt (nee Janiszewski) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the age of 70 at her home in West Bend, WI. She was born in Wauwatosa, WI, and is the daughter of the late Arline Engleman.
She was married to her husband, Ron Schmidt. Linda was an entrepreneur when she started her own business in 1987, Lindas Cleaning. She helped to grow the company L&R Cleaning Services, LLC, with her husband which is still in existence today, after 34 years.
Linda enjoyed family gatherings, camping, and fishing, and loved the outdoors . Linda was an avid gardener for many decades. She grew and propagated beautiful flowers and vegetables in her gardens. She loved all animals, especially her dogs and cats.
Linda is lovingly survived by her husband, Ronald L. Schmidt; children Kenneth and Tina Schmidt; granddaughters Mariah and Samantha, and grandsons Kyle and Payton; loving sisters: Sherry Bladorn, Debbie Pendergast, Sandy (David) Bricco, and Donna Engleman, as well as many nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Tracy.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 3:45 PM, with the funeral service at 4:00 PM, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend. Burial will be held on Monday, September 16, at 11:00 AM, at Washington County Memorial Park. Instead of flowers, donations are acceptable.
